Ponderosa Visioning Workshop

On Saturday, October 29th 2005, the Ponderosa Neighborhood Association presented a visioning workshop. The workshop was held at the Ponderosa Elementary School. The purpose of the workshop was to provide a facilitated forum for visioning positive change. It was an opportunity for neighbors to meet and get to know each other. The workshop culminated with an Action Plan, which is a stepping-stone for future direction.
Attendees included members of the community (from Ponderosa and other neighbor-hoods), government officials and candidates for government office. The workshop was not a political platform or fundraiser but was a facilitated process that provided a neutral and open forum for identifying concerns, best possible outcomes and vision for the future.
